Nothing Will Change How Much I Love You

Sarah Anderson

Before becoming a parent I thought I would do best with having a teenager right off the bat. If I could skip the sleep deprivation and toddler tantrum-ing and bedwetting, I’d be good. I wanted to get right to the place where I could have a conversation and reason with my offspring. Because how do you reason with a child who wants to eat soap? Basically I was just holding out for the older years when we could be peers and friends and enjoy each other’s company without fear of a temper tantrum in the middle of Target.

Little KIDS

Bible Story: Bigger Barns (Acts 2:45; Luke 12:16-21)

Story Focus: The Bible teaches me I can share my stuff.

Sharing our stuff if is very hard concept for preschoolers. But the Bible teaches us that whether we have a little or a lot we can share with those around us.

Big Kids

Bible Lesson: Abraham to Isaac (Genesis 12-21)

Bottom Line: Trust and obey even if you don’t know how it will work out.

Sometimes kids will face moments of obedience where they don’t know if the outcome will be worth doing what they’re told. It could mean needing to move to a new school and having a good attitude or finding out you have allergies and suddenly not being able to eat your favorite meal anymore. We can trust that God has a plan for our lives and will care for us along the way.

Preteens

Scripture Reference: Genesis 12-21

Key Question: What do you think your leaders know that you don’t?

As kids grow up, they may start to question their leaders—especially when it comes to figuring out why they need to obey them. But what if the people in charge of us know something that we don’t? What if what they know about the future makes following them even more important? We hope that our kids start to think about their leaders, what they know, and why that matters when it comes to obeying them.

MEGA Sports Camp

MSC19plain.jpg

We had an amazing week at Mega Sports Camp Power Up learning to know God and accept His “power-ups” to help us win in this life!

A HUGE thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this such a great experience for our kids!

We hope you will join us and bring your friends to next year’s event…Mega Sports Camp Focus! Where we will learn to see what matters most.

Our Mission:

  • To partner with parents in helping children develop an authentic faith.

  • To incite wonder in our preschoolers so they will begin to meet God’s family and know that God’s love is real.

  • To provoke discovery in our elementary kids so they will begin to trust God’s character and experience being a part of God’s family.

  • To guide our preteens to discover the character of God, to experience the love of Christ first hand, and to desire a personal relationship of their own with Him.

We want every child to understand that they are made in the image of God for the purpose of loving God with their heart, soul, mind and strength, and to truly trust Jesus so that they can have a better future.

“For the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” (Mark 10:14)
