Little KIDS

Bible Story: Simeon at the Temple (Luke 2:22-39)

Story Focus: When Jesus is your friend, He gives you the power to be patient.

This week we will see how a man named Simeon powered up to have patience. He waited a looooong time to see God do what He said He would do. Waiting in line for the slide or waiting for cookies to bake is hard, but when Jesus is our friend, we can have patience.

Big Kids

Bible Story: Simeon at the Temple (Luke 2:22-35)

Bottom Line: When you need to wait, ask God for patience.

We all face moments where we’ll find it difficult to have patience. From waiting in line to get a seat at your favorite restaurant to sitting in construction traffic on your way to vacation, how can you have patience when you just want to get a move on? We pray that kids will start with prayer and ask God for help. God can give us patience in any situation!

Preteens

Scripture Reference: Luke 2:22-35

Key Question: What do you do when you have to wait?

We can’t escape it. Waiting is just a part of life, but how we wait can show others how much we trust God. Preteens will discover how they can respond to those moments in life when they need an extra dose of patience. We pray this lesson will help them realize how they can trust God while they wait.

MEGA Sports Camp

We had an amazing week at Mega Sports Camp Power Up learning to know God and accept His “power-ups” to help us win in this life!

A HUGE thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this such a great experience for our kids!

We hope you will join us and bring your friends to next year’s event…Mega Sports Camp Focus! Where we will learn to see what matters most.

Our Mission:

  • To partner with parents in helping children develop an authentic faith.

  • To incite wonder in our preschoolers so they will begin to meet God’s family and know that God’s love is real.

  • To provoke discovery in our elementary kids so they will begin to trust God’s character and experience being a part of God’s family.

  • To guide our preteens to discover the character of God, to experience the love of Christ first hand, and to desire a personal relationship of their own with Him.

We want every child to understand that they are made in the image of God for the purpose of loving God with their heart, soul, mind and strength, and to truly trust Jesus so that they can have a better future.

“For the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” (Mark 10:14)
