this sunday in new hope kids

Little KIDS

Bible Story: Birds and Flowers (John 14:27; Matthew 6:25-34)

Story Focus: When Jesus is your friend, He gives you the power to have peace.

When we are connected to Jesus, He gives us the power to have peace. For preschoolers, we define peace as “we don’t have to worry”. Just look at the birds and the flowers. God takes care of them, so we know He’ll take care of us!

Big Kids

Bible Story: Don’t Worry (Matthew 6:25-27)

Bottom Line: You can have peace because God is in control.

Sometimes we might wonder what kids have to worry about. However, any disruption in schedule, or expectations, or an argument with a friend, can cause kids to feel like life is out of control. We hope that as kids learn how much God cares for them, they’ll discover how they can find peace.

Scripture Reference: Matthew 6:25-27

Key Question: How can you find peace even when life seems hard?

Preteens are discovering that life can be stressful. From the demands of school, to the responsibilities at home, to navigating friendships, many of them feel anxious as they try to hold it all together. We pray that they’ll discover ways to trust God and experience peace when life seems out of control.

MEGA Sports Camp

We have had an amazing week at Mega Sports Camp Power Up learning to know God and accept His “power-ups” to help us win in this life!

A HUGE thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this such a great experience for our kids!

We hope you will join us and bring your friends to next year’s event…Mega Sports Camp Focus! Where we will learn to see what matters most.

Our Mission:

  • To partner with parents in helping children develop an authentic faith.

  • To incite wonder in our preschoolers so they will begin to meet God’s family and know that God’s love is real.

  • To provoke discovery in our elementary kids so they will begin to trust God’s character and experience being a part of God’s family.

  • To guide our preteens to discover the character of God, to experience the love of Christ first hand, and to desire a personal relationship of their own with Him.

We want every child to understand that they are made in the image of God for the purpose of loving God with their heart, soul, mind and strength, and to truly trust Jesus so that they can have a better future.

“For the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” (Mark 10:14)
